Core activities include defining the purpose and scope, collecting relevant data (both qualitative and quantitative), analyzing the environment and drivers, identifying stakeholders and their interests, assessing risks and opportunities, and developing scenarios or alternatives. The process often yields an assessment report and an action-oriented plan, with an emphasis on communicating findings clearly to decision-makers.
