HardwareSets

HardwareSets are a conceptual grouping used in hardware management platforms to organize physical devices into named collections for provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance. They provide a logical abstraction that simplifies operations across large fleets of hardware by treating a set of devices as a single unit for policy application, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management.

A HardwareSet typically consists of a defined membership of hardware assets plus associated metadata. Members can include servers, storage units, networking gear, or other peripherals.
