Görcsgátlást, also known as antispasmodic therapy, refers to the medical treatment aimed at relieving or preventing spasms, particularly smooth muscle spasms. These spasms can occur in various parts of the body, affecting organs such as the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and uterus. The underlying cause of these spasms can be diverse, ranging from medical conditions like irritable bowel syndrome, kidney stones, and menstrual cramps to more generalized muscular tension.
