Grundhaltung

Grundhaltung is a German term meaning "basic attitude" or "fundamental stance." It refers to a person’s underlying orientation toward others, problems, and situations that informs perception, interpretation, and action. It is typically stable over time but can be refined through reflection, education, and experience.

Etymology and scope: Grundhaltung combines Grund (foundation, basis) and Haltung (posture, attitude).
