Glóinss
Glóinss is a fictional character appearing in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. He is a dwarf, a member of Durin's folk, and is most notably known for his role in the quest to reclaim Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, as chronicled in *The Hobbit*. Glóinss is the son of Gróin and the father of Gimli, who later becomes a prominent member of the Fellowship of the Ring.
