Gróin

Gróin is a character in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, appearing in The Hobbit. He is a dwarf of Durin's folk, son of Thrain and father of Thorin Oakenshield. Gróin is one of the thirteen dwarves who accompany Bilbo Baggins on the quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug. He is described as a stout and grim dwarf, loyal to his kinsmen and fiercely protective of his family's honor.
