Treatment options depend on the type, size, and location of the tumor, as well as the patient's overall health. They can range from observation and monitoring to surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy.

Prevention of tumors often involves maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise, a balanced diet, avoiding tobacco and excessive alcohol consumption, and protecting the skin from excessive sun exposure. Regular screenings and early detection can also play a crucial role in the prevention and treatment of tumors.
