Another method is the use of gender stars, underscores, or colons within words, like "Student*innen," "Student_innen," or "Student:innen," to represent all genders simultaneously. Some proponents also advocate for the use of gender-neutral terms that replace gendered nouns altogether, for instance, using "studierende Personen" (studying persons) or "Lernende" (learners).
