Garbrand

Garbrand is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a mutant with the ability to control and manipulate earth and stone.

Garbrand first appeared in X-Men #125 in 1979, created by writer Chris Claremont and artist John Byrne. He was initially depicted as a member of the Mutant Liberation Front, a radical group of mutants fighting for mutant rights through more aggressive means. Garbrand's powers allowed him to create earthquakes, hurl boulders, and form protective barriers from the earth. His primary antagonist was often Wolverine, a member of the X-Men who opposed the MLF's violent methods.

Over time, Garbrand's character has been explored in various storylines.
