Formatiiviset

Formatiiviset is a Finnish term that translates to "formative" in English, and it is most commonly used in the context of education. Formatiiviset arvioinnit, or formative assessments, are a crucial part of the learning process. Unlike summative assessments which evaluate learning at the end of a unit or course, formative assessments are ongoing and designed to monitor student progress and understanding during instruction.
