Key elements commonly found on a Flächenplan include property lines with their dimensions, building footprints indicating their exact location and orientation on the site, driveways, walkways, and other hardscaping elements. It also often shows the location of utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity connections, as well as landscaping features like trees, shrubs, and open spaces. Setback lines, which are minimum distances required between a structure and property boundaries, are also usually indicated.
