The F-15E Strike Eagle is an American twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter-bomber designed to strike ground targets. It is a derivative of the F-15 Eagle air superiority fighter, but specifically designed for interdiction and close air support roles. The F-15E was developed by McDonnell Douglas, now Boeing.
