Företagsbaserad

The word combines företag (company) with baserad (based), signaling an emphasis on industry involvement and real-world application.

In education and training, företagsbaserad utbildning refers to programs where learning takes place within a workplace, such as internships, apprenticeships, or co-op arrangements. These programs aim to align skills with industry needs and improve employability by exposing learners to authentic work tasks and corporate workflows.

In research and development, företagsbaserad forskning and utveckling denotes applied research conducted in collaboration with industry, often funded by companies or industrial consortia. Such work prioritizes practical applications, iterative experimentation, and faster translation of findings into products or processes.
