Endans

Endans are a type of plant native to the tropical regions of Central and South America. They are relatively small in size, growing up to a maximum height of three feet. The endan plant has a woody stem and a spread of around three to four feet, making it a popular choice for ornamental gardens and landscaping due to its unique and attractive appearance.

The leaves of the endan plant are dark green in color and have a pointed shape with a gradual narrowing towards the tips. They are relatively thick and leathery in texture, with serrated edges that are used to increase the surface area of the leaves for photosynthesis. The leaves themselves are also relatively large, with adults reaching sizes of up to six inches in length.

In terms of growth habit, the endan plant is considered to be evergreen and thrives in warm and humid climates with abundant rainfall and high levels of sunlight. Annual temperatures between 64 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit are ideal for the endan, while areas prone to frost or temperatures significantly above 100 degrees are less suitable for its growth.

Endans produce small white flowers with a speckled pattern on their center, which have a sweet fragrance and pollination is typically done by insects. While the flowers are relatively small, the endans' branches and leaves make them a popular choice for air plants, coasting the flowers and other attributes tend to be low to the ground.
