Edwardianstyle refers to the design and aesthetic associated with the Edwardian era, roughly spanning the reign of King Edward VII (1901–1910) and extending into the years before World War I. It encompasses architecture, interior design, fashion, decorative arts, and popular culture in Britain and the wider English-speaking world. The style is often described as a transitional phase between late Victorian tastes and modern early 20th-century sensibilities, combining ornament with a heightened emphasis on comfort and light.

In architecture and interiors, Edwardian style tends toward more decorative detail than early modernism but with a softer overall impression than the mid-Victorian years. Buildings frequently feature brickwork with stone trim, and may display eclectic revival influences, including Baroque or classical motifs, alongside emerging uses of steel and glass. Residential design favored well-built, comfortable interiors, with brighter, airier rooms, larger windows, and open or semi-open floor plans. Light and color palettes tended to be more restrained than in purely Victorian examples, while still embracing elegance, fine woodwork, decorative plaster, and ornate textiles.

In fashion and decorative arts, Edwardian style embraced refined tailoring for men and women, with lighter fabrics, longer hemlines, and a move away from extreme silhouette exaggerations. Graphic design and posters of the period show sinuous lines and Art Nouveau influence, while textiles and decorative arts reflected a blend of contemporary tastes with traditional craftsmanship. The Edwardian aesthetic extended to furniture, gardens, and everyday consumer goods, and it remains a common reference point for period restoration and historical fiction.
