Dunnefilmen is a fictional feature-length drama that uses the motif of a developing film strip as a narrative device to explore memory, time, and perception. The film centers on an unnamed protagonist who encounters an old cache of photographs and a malfunctioning camera, blurring the line between images and lived experience.

As the protagonist projects the images, scenes from the past surface in fragmented, non-linear order. Each projection triggers sensory cues and emotions that resemble memories rather than documented events, inviting viewers to question the reliability of perception and the passage of time.

Shot on 16mm stock for a grainy, tactile texture, the movie emphasizes the materiality of film with long takes, deliberate framing, and a restrained color palette.
