Drumstep
Drumstep is a fusion genre within electronic dance music that blends elements of drum and bass and dubstep. It typically features drum and bass–style breakbeats paired with dubstep–style bass design and commonly sits around 140 to 150 beats per minute. Tracks often merge the fast, rolling drum patterns of drum and bass with the heavier, wobbling basslines of dubstep, producing drops that carry the weight of dubstep while maintaining the tempo of DnB.
