Demonstráltunk
Demonstráltunk is the first-person plural past tense form of the Hungarian verb demonstrálni, meaning “to demonstrate.” It indicates that we performed a demonstration or showed something in the past, together with at least one other person. The word can be used in two broad senses: to demonstrate in the sense of proving or illustrating a point, or to take part in a demonstration, such as a public protest. The intended sense is determined by context, and in everyday language the two meanings can be clarified with additional words (for example, érveket demonstráltunk to mean we demonstrated arguments, or tüntettünk a demonstráción to mean we protested in a demonstration).
