Crispedges
Crispedges is a term used to describe a phenomenon where the edges of a digital image or display appear unnaturally sharp or jagged. This can manifest as a stair-step effect on diagonal lines, or a harsh, defined outline around objects that should otherwise be softer. While some level of aliasing, or jaggies, is inherent in digital rendering due to the discrete nature of pixels, "crispedges" often implies an exaggerated or undesirable appearance of this effect.
