Contracultures
Contracultures represent a significant sociological phenomenon where a group's values, beliefs, and behaviors stand in opposition to, or in stark contrast with, the dominant or mainstream culture of their society. These groups often emerge as a reaction to perceived societal norms, injustices, or dissatisfactions, seeking to establish an alternative way of life.
