CTpulmonaangiografia, also known as CT pulmonary angiography (CTPA), is a non-invasive medical imaging technique used to visualize the pulmonary arteries and identify blood clots within them. It is a specialized type of computed tomography (CT) scan that combines CT imaging with the injection of a contrast dye into the bloodstream. The contrast dye, which appears bright on X-rays, highlights the blood vessels, allowing radiologists to detect any blockages or abnormalities.
