CPETtestejä, more commonly known as Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET), is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure used to assess the functional capacity of an individual's cardiopulmonary system. It involves performing exercise, typically on a treadmill or stationary bicycle, while a variety of physiological parameters are monitored. These parameters include heart rate, blood pressure, electrocardiogram (ECG), oxygen saturation, and respiratory gases (oxygen uptake and carbon dioxide production). The test is conducted under the supervision of trained medical professionals.
