Bundestagu
Bundestagu, often written as Bundestag, refers to the German federal parliament and is the principal legislative body of Germany. It forms the lower house of the bicameral legislature, with the Bundesrat representing the sixteen states in the upper house. The Bundestagu’s core functions are to draft and pass federal laws, to approve the federal budget, and to scrutinize the government. It also elects the Federal Chancellor and can remove the Chancellor through a constructive vote of no confidence, a mechanism that ensures the government commands parliamentary support.
