Blasensensibilität, also known as an overactive bladder (OAB), refers to a condition characterized by a sudden, strong urge to urinate that is difficult to control. This urge can occur frequently, often leading to multiple trips to the bathroom throughout the day and night. In some cases, this urgency may be accompanied by urinary incontinence, meaning leakage of urine.

In more severe or persistent cases, other interventions like nerve stimulation or minimally invasive procedures may be considered.
