Bezovia

Bezovia is a landlocked sovereign state in the northern part of the fictional continent of Elaria. It covers about 70,000 square kilometers and is bordered by the Lyran Highlands to the north, the Trellis Plateau to the east, the Montaigne Range to the west, and the Bez River valley to the south, which forms a natural boundary with neighboring states. The terrain includes low mountains, rolling plains, and extensive forests; the Bez River runs centrally, feeding a network of reservoirs and hydroelectric facilities.

Bezovia operates as a constitutional republic. The president is the head of state and is elected for a four-year term; the prime minister is the head of government and chairs the cabinet. The unicameral National Assembly enacts legislation, and judicial independence is guaranteed by the constitution. The capital and largest city is Bezgrad.

Population is about 4.2 million. The Bez people form the majority; minority communities include Arovi and Keldari populations, among others. Official language is Bezovian; several minority languages are spoken regionally. The economy is diversified, with agriculture (grain, dairy), forestry, light manufacturing, and growing services. Hydropower and wind energy contribute significantly to domestic electricity. Main exports include timber, textiles, and machinery components.

Bezovia has a rich cultural scene with traditional music, crafts, and literature. Education is compulsory through secondary level, and the country maintains a network of regional universities. Notable features include the Bez Basin and several nature reserves that attract ecotourism. The country maintains active diplomatic relations and is a member of regional organizations in Elaria.
