Aszexuálisok

Aszexuálisok, often shortened to "aszek", refers to individuals who experience little to no sexual attraction. This is distinct from romantic attraction, which can be present, absent, or different in nature. Asexuality exists on a spectrum, meaning not all asexual individuals experience attraction in the same way or to the same degree. Some may experience sexual attraction rarely, under specific circumstances, or only after a strong emotional bond has formed.

The asexual community often uses specific terminology to describe their experiences. For example, "aromantic" refers to individuals who experience little to no romantic attraction. Some asexual individuals identify as gray-asexual (gray-a), which describes those who experience sexual attraction very rarely or under specific conditions. Others might identify as demisexual, meaning they only experience sexual attraction after forming a strong emotional connection with someone.

Asexuality is not a choice, a medical condition, or a result of trauma. It is an orientation, similar to being heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual. Asexual people can have fulfilling relationships, including romantic partnerships, friendships, and family connections. Their lack of sexual attraction does not preclude them from experiencing intimacy, love, or deep emotional bonds. Understanding and acceptance of asexuality are growing, as awareness of the diversity of human sexuality increases.
