Asignan

Asignan is a municipality located in the province of Sorsogon, Philippines. It is situated along the coast of the Ragay Gulf, the largest gulf in the Bicol Region. The municipality has a total land area of approximately 164.43 square kilometers, and according to the 2015 census, it has a population of 24,444 residents.

Geographically, Asignan is bounded by the municipalities of Castilla to the north, Siruma to the northeast, and Donsol to the south. To the west lies the Albay province. The municipality is traversed by the Bicolana Peninsula, which divides the eastern and western coastal areas.
