Antitivoization is a neologism used to describe the process by which antagonistic or oppositional dynamics within a system are transformed into constructive, stabilizing patterns that reduce conflict or friction. The term blends anti- (against) with a suffix analogous to activation, signaling a mobilization of latent tensions toward cooperative outcomes rather than their suppression. The concept is not widely standardized and appears mainly in theoretical discussions across social science and complexity studies.

In practice, antitivoization refers to mechanisms that redirect opposition into productive feedback, reformulate conflicts as joint problem solving, and align competing interests through institutions, norms, or incentives. Examples discussed in literature include reframing adversaries as stakeholders in shared goals, creating governance structures that convert veto points into constructive negotiation channels, and designing incentive regimes that reward collaboration even among divergent groups. The approach emphasizes transforming negative energy or dissent into information, resilience, and adaptive change, rather than attempting to eliminate opposition outright.
