Anglikaanikirkkoon refers to the Anglican Communion, a global communion of churches tracing their lineage to the Church of England. The Anglican Communion is the third-largest Christian communion in the world, after the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is a fellowship of independent national and regional churches, each of which is autonomous but united in its common heritage, structures, and worship. The Archbishop of Canterbury is the symbolic head of the Anglican Communion, but holds no direct authority over the individual member churches.
