Amicar
Amicar is the brand name for the medication aminocaproic acid, an antifibrinolytic agent used to prevent and control bleeding. By inhibiting the activity of plasmin, it reduces the breakdown of fibrin clots and helps stabilize clots that have formed in conditions where excessive fibrinolysis contributes to bleeding.
