Jalal al-Din Abd al-Rahman ibn Kamal al-Din Muhammad ibn Sabiq al-Din al-Khuzayri al-Suyuti, commonly known as al-Suyuti, was a prolific Egyptian scholar and jurist of the Shafi'i school of jurisprudence.
