Activant was a software company that provided enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business management software tailored for distributors and manufacturers. Its product portfolio focused on distribution-centric ERP, including modules for inventory and warehouse management, order processing, procurement, supply chain management, financials, customer relationship management, and analytics. The company targeted mid-market organizations across industries such as automotive, hardware, electrical, and industrial supplies, with an emphasis on improving inventory visibility, order accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Activant existed as an independent firm until it was acquired by Epicor Software Corporation in 2011.
