010asteikko is a Finnish term for a commonly used rating scale that runs from 0 to 10. It is employed to quantify subjective attributes such as intensity, quality, satisfaction, or agreement. The scale is often referred to as 0–10-asteikko or 010asteikko in everyday language and in research contexts.

In typical use, respondents select a number between 0 and 10. Endpoints are usually anchored, for example 0 representing the absence or minimum level, and 10 representing the maximum level or extreme intensity. Some questionnaires provide verbal descriptors at certain points, such as “not at all” at 0 and “extremely” at 10, to aid interpretation. While the scale is inherently ordinal, it is frequently treated as if the intervals between adjacent points are equal for practical analysis.
