Äänityskonsoli, known in English as a mixing console or soundboard, is an electronic device used in sound recording and reproduction to mix, process, and route audio signals. It is a central hub for audio operations, allowing users to combine multiple audio sources into a single output or multiple outputs. The primary function of an äänityskonsoli is to provide control over various aspects of sound, including volume levels, equalization (bass, mid, treble), panning (left-right stereo placement), and the application of effects such as reverb or delay.
