Äänisävyihin (Finnish for “to the sound tones”) is a 2022 studio album by the Finnish experimental music project Orest. The work is an exploration of sonic textures and incorporates field recordings captured in the Lapland wilderness, alongside processed vocal samples and ambient synth layers. The album contains eight tracks, with durations ranging from 3:21 to 7:45, and is thematically centered on themes of nature, silence, and the shifting perception of sound.
