xenonvalaistusta
Xenonvalaistus, often referred to as xenon lighting or high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting, is a type of gas-discharge lamp that produces light by an electric arc through xenon gas. This technology is distinct from traditional incandescent bulbs which rely on heating a filament until it glows. Xenon bulbs contain a capsule filled with xenon gas, metal salts, and a small amount of liquid mercury. When a high voltage is applied, an arc forms, ionizing the xenon gas and exciting the metal salts. The excited metal salts then emit light, producing a bright, white illumination.
The primary advantage of xenon lighting is its superior brightness and light output compared to halogen bulbs.
Xenon lighting is commonly found in automotive headlights, where its bright, far-reaching beam significantly improves driving
