Wyszukanym is a grammatical form in Polish, most often the instrumental singular of the adjective wyszukany. The base adjective comes from the verb wyszukać, meaning to search out, find, or select. In modern usage, wyszukany and its inflected forms express two closely related senses: something found after searching (literally or figuratively discovered) and something carefully chosen, elaborate, or refined.

As a form, wyszukanym typically modifies masculine or neuter nouns in the instrumental case, for example in phrases like wyszukanym sposobem (in an elaborate or refined way) or wyszukany sposób (a refined method). When the noun is feminine, the instrumental form differs (for instance, wyszukaną metodą or similar depending on the noun). The word can also appear in predicative expressions with a copula, carrying the sense of “it was a refined/clever idea.”

Semantically, użycie wyszukanym stresses quality or intentional selection, rather than just the act of finding.
