In leadership, wertschätzende Führung or eine wertschätzende Führungskultur aims to foster psychological safety, trust, and motivation among team members.

In practice, wertschätzendes Verhalten includes appreciative feedback, recognition of achievements, transparent and honest communication, and consideration for others’ needs and boundaries. It contrasts with more evaluative or controlling modes of interaction that emphasize fault-finding or hierarchy.
