Weathertelling refers to the practice of predicting future weather conditions. Historically, this was done through observation of natural phenomena. These observations often included the behavior of animals, the appearance of the sky, wind patterns, and the presence of certain celestial bodies. Many cultures developed their own sets of proverbs and rhymes based on these observations to forecast weather changes, often for agricultural or navigational purposes.
Modern weathertelling, or meteorology, relies on scientific instruments and complex models. These include weather balloons, satellites,
