Võrreldi (Botanically referred to as *Lobularia villosa*) is a small, herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the family Brassicaceae. The species is characterized by its finely dissected, feathery foliage and dense inflorescences of pale lavender to white flowers that bloom from early spring to late summer. Each flower consists of four petals and a central pistil, typical of the family, and the plant produces a slender seed pod that splits open to release numerous tiny seeds.

The plant is native to the temperate regions of Eurasia, with a stronghold in the subalpine and montane zones of the Alps, Pyrenees, and Caucasus. In Estonia, the species is commonly found in moist meadows, woodland clearings, and along stream banks, where it prefers well-drained, loamy soils with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. Võrreldi can also be introduced to temperate gardens where it serves as a decorative groundcover due to its soft texture and fragrant foliage.

Traditional uses of Võrreldi include its incorporation into herbal teas and folk remedies, where it is said to possess mild diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties. Although scientific studies are limited, preliminary investigations suggest that the plant contains glucosinolates and phenolic compounds that may contribute to its purported health benefits. Conservation status is generally stable in its native range; however, habitat loss and overgrazing may pose local risks. The species is occasionally cultivated for ornamental purposes and for its potential ecological benefits in stabilizing soil and providing habitat for pollinators.
