Vinos are a style of Italian luggage originating from the 17th century. The term "vino" literally translates to "wine" in Italian, and refers to the dark brown, often leather-like material used to make Vinos trunks and saddlebags. Characterized by their stiff, inflexible construction, Vinos were known for their durability and long-lasting quality.

In the early 18th century, Vinos gained popularity as a status symbol among wealthy travelers. Due to their high-quality construction, they were coveted for their ability to withstand the rigors of travel, and as such became a symbol of luxury and refinement. Over time, Vinos evolved from being strictly functional luggage to becoming a sought-after collectible item.
