vesemoodustus
Vesemoodustus refers to the formation and development of the urinary system in an embryo. This complex process begins early in prenatal development and involves the formation of three successive sets of kidneys: the pronephros, mesonephros, and metanephros. The pronephros are rudimentary and transient, appearing in the cervical region of the embryo. The mesonephros develop from the intermediate mesoderm and function temporarily as excretory organs. The permanent kidneys, the metanephros, arise from a different origin, the metanephric blastema, and a ureteric bud.
The ureteric bud, an outgrowth of the mesonephric duct, elongates and branches within the metanephric mesenchyme.
Throughout this process, the kidneys gradually ascend from their initial pelvic position to their final location
