Urbanidad is a Spanish term that denotes civility, courtesy, and refined social conduct. It also encompasses the idea of urbanity, the quality of being urbane and fitting for city life. In its ethical sense, urbanidad refers to behaving with respect for others, observing social norms, and practicing polite discourse.

From Latin urbanitas, derived from urbs (city), urbanidad has been used since the early modern period in education and etiquette manuals to describe how members of society should conduct themselves.
