Transparentny is a Polish adjective meaning transparent, clear, or easily perceived. It is used for both physical materials that allow light or other radiation to pass through and for non-physical qualities such as processes, information, or governance that are open, easily understood, and open to scrutiny. In everyday usage it can convey that something is straightforward or not obscured by hidden complexities.

The term is borrowed from the English or French word transparent, which itself comes from the Latin transparens meaning shining through or evident. In Polish the form transparentny is produced with the standard adjectival suffix -ny, with gendered forms transparentna (feminine) and transparentne (neuter/plural).

Usage examples illustrate both senses: "Szyba jest transparentna" (The pane is transparent). "Działania rządu powinny być transparentne" (The government's actions should be transparent).
