Unlike soil fertilization, which relies on root uptake and can be subject to soil pH and nutrient availability issues, foliar feeding bypasses these limitations.

The primary advantage of taimväetamine is its speed. Nutrients are often absorbed within hours, making it an effective way to address nutrient deficiencies quickly. This is particularly useful for crops experiencing stress from drought, extreme temperatures, or pest damage, as it can provide immediate support.
