Electric power tools can be either corded or cordless. Corded tools draw power from a mains electrical outlet via a power cord, offering continuous operation. Cordless tools, on the other hand, are powered by rechargeable batteries, providing greater portability and freedom of movement. The development of battery technology has significantly improved the performance and runtime of cordless power tools, making them increasingly popular for both professional and DIY use.
