The cobra-billed snakebird also has a distinctive curved bill, which it uses to capture fish and crustaceans from the water.

Snakebirds are members of the family Ardeidae, which includes herons and egrets. They are found in a variety of habitats, including wetlands, forests, and rocky coastlines. They are generally solitary birds and are known to be skittish, often flying away quickly when approached.
