Skloovaný is a Czech adjective meaning glazed or glass-coated. It is formed from the noun sklo (glass) and the suffix -ovaný, and is used primarily in the description of surfaces that have been coated with a glass-like glaze and fired.

In ceramics and pottery, skloovaný refers to objects whose surfaces have been finished with glaze to form a glassy, non-porous layer. The glaze provides color, texture, and protection, and can be transparent, translucent, opaque, or decorative. Glazing is typically followed by a firing step in a kiln, which fuses the glaze to the ceramic body and determines the final appearance and durability.

Glazes vary in composition and firing requirements.
