schwimmende

Schwimmende is a German term derived from the verb schwimmen and used as both a present participle and an adjective meaning “floating” or “swimming.” As an attributive adjective it describes objects that are on water or capable of floating, as in schwimmende Boote (floating boats), schwimmende Plattformen (floating platforms) or schwimmende Inseln (floating islands).
