rambai
Rambai, scientifically known as Baccaurea motleyana, is a species of fruit tree native to Southeast Asia. It belongs to the family Phyllanthaceae and is commonly found in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The tree is an evergreen that typically grows to heights of 9 to 12 meters and thrives in tropical lowland climates.
The fruit grows in dangling clusters similar to grapes and is generally round or oval in shape.
Rambai is usually consumed fresh by peeling away the tough outer skin to access the edible pulp.
